The first-ever Global Children's Fashion Week in the Arab world was held in Abu Dhabi, organized by Emirati designer Mona Al Mansouri. The event featured 85 children from various countries, showcased innovative designs, and highlighted important humanitarian messages.

With innocence and spontaneity, promising talents shone during the first-ever Global Children's Fashion Week in the Arab world, organized by Emirati fashion designer Dr. Mona Al Mansouri at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. The fashion week shows, inaugurated by Sheikha Fakhra bint Ziyab bin Saif Al Nahyan, featured 85 children from several countries, led by the UAE, Russia, Italy, Spain, Thailand, Kazakhstan, and the Philippines. The show presented innovative designs ranging from couture and fantasy to traditional attire, with the participation of designers from the UAE, Morocco, Oman, Kazakhstan, and Russia. Sheikha Fakhra bint Ziyab said in her opening speech: 'Welcome to Abu Dhabi, the UAE brings us together where joy and fashion meet,' expressing her gratitude to the designer, organizers, participants, and guests for attending the children's fashion week. In turn, designer Mona Al Mansouri confirmed that the fashion week aims to highlight the importance of childhood and creativity, stating that the show carries three high humanitarian messages: supporting children battling cancer, children suffering from incurable and chronic diseases such as muscular dystrophy, and showcasing the cultural aspect of peoples, as well as emphasizing the importance of sports for children. She added: 'The idea of organizing the first children's fashion week came to me to use fashion shows in service of humanitarian issues concerning children, and the idea was shared by my daughter, visual artist Mariam Al Mansouri. We were keen for the event to be a platform for cultural and social exchange among children worldwide, and for the fashion shows to be diverse and presented in an attractive style that aligns with both modern and traditional fashion lines, and at a level worthy of children's fashion culture and creativity, and in the name of the UAE state and its status as a global hub for innovative events.' At the end of the show, children who had battled cancer and muscular dystrophy were honored, along with honoring personalities and representatives of various entities in the country, including Dr. Amel Abdullah Al Haddad, a member of the UAE Businesswomen Council, and the founder of 'Takaif Amania.'
